WHAT IS AN ESSENCE?

A water-based skincare product containing a high content of active ingredients to hydrate, protect and prime the skin. Our essence enriches the skin with a blend of soothing botanical extracts.
CAN THIS BE USED LIKE A TONER?

It depends. If you use a toner to prime your skin then yes, if you use toner to wipe away impurities post cleanse then no, since this is not to be used with a cotton pad and does not remove impurities.
WHEN SHOULD I APPLY THIS DURING MY ROUTINE?

Use directly after cleansing to lock in maximum hydration within the skin.
SHOULD THIS BE APPLIED TO DRY OR WET SKIN?

Apply to freshly cleansed, slightly damp skin to promote hydration. Allow to absorb before applying additional skincare products.
CAN I USE THIS PRIOR TO RETINOL OIL?

Absolutely! Using the Essence before using the Retinol Oil will prep the skin, allowing for better absorption of the Retinol Oil.
Top tip: Also apply your eye cream before the Retinol Oil to protect the delicate skin around the eye area.

    I’ve bought this product five times at this point! It’s amazing. Smells lovely. Is soothing and replenishing. I have super sensitive skin that’s very dry so this is the soothing I need without feeling greasy. Really amazing stuff and lasts a decent amount of time. Highly recommend.

    Must have!

    While I have not finished my first bottle, I do not want to run out. One bottle will easily last a couple months (×2 day). Great smell and perfect size glass bottle.

    Refreshing

    I love how this makes my skin feel so moisturised, soft and refreshed but ever so lightly so. My pores are quickly disappearing too and i have always had pretty large pores. It's difficult to isolate it's effect as I use other 111Skin products as part of my routine but when I use a different toner I can see the difference. It's very difficult to describe the effect of any 111Skin products because all I can think after using them is this is magic. Its hard to explain but the effect is immediately apparent after only one use. I can't stop checking myself in the mirror since I started using these products.
