Summer Skin Hydration



Although your skin comprises of up to 70% water, it’s still possible for your skin to become dehydrated. Your skin contains Natural Moisturising Factors (NMF) that have the ability to hydrate the skin and provide a barrier which prevents water from evaporating from the skin as quickly. The problem is, external factors can cause the moisture levels of the skin to drop.

Factors that we come across in the summer that can strip our skin of its NMF include: temperature change, dryness, air conditioning, humidity, exposure to intense UV radiation, and taking long showers. Use a hydrating cleanser

Some cleansers are harsh on the skin and strip it of its natural moisture. The lift off purifying cleanser is gentle on the skin and has hydrating ingredients as well as possessing the ability to restore the skin’s PH balance.

Use a daily moisturiser
