Top Tips For Sensitive Skin

If you are one of the many people who suffers with sensitive skin, you know what a problem it can be to find the right products. Establishing a proper skincare routine can be difficult when you’re worried about products causing flare-ups, redness or irritation yet by taking the right precautions you can learn how to properly pamper your skin. Learn to avoid common irritants and you’ll soon be able to give your sensitive skin the proper anti-ageing, nourishing care it needs.

1. Always Read The Label
The first step when it comes to protecting sensitive skin is to always read the label. Products with strong fragrances, harsh chemicals or an abrasive nature will easily irritate sensitive skin and can lead to flare ups, redness and other potential problems. Look for products which contain Vitamin E, Aloe Vera or Jojoba oil, conditioning, hydrating ingredients which are good at combatting dry skin complaints.

2. Test Any New Products
This one applies to everyone, but particularly those with sensitive skin. When you have a new product place a small test patch on your skin 48 hours before you want to start using to check for any redness.
