This weekend 111SKIN co-founder, Eva Alexandrides, will set off on a European adventure with 70 other inspirational business women on the 2015 Cash & Rocket Tour to raise awareness and funds for charity.

Plus 70 of the most influential women are hand-picked each year to unite their efforts to raise global awareness that will empower women and children in third world countries. The tour involves the women travelling to the top cities around Europe in addition to attending a Gala Dinner which attracts many high profile figures and celebrities. Whilst it may seem like glitz and glamour, the 70 women must travel over 800km per day which means at least 8 hours on the road each day.
Julie Brangstrup, the founder of Cash & Rocket wanted to create a charity that would see 100% of donations go directly to the charity partners. Julie believes in supporting the people through education and healthcare, and the three charity partners:
All of which provide life changing support to women and children. Eva is particularly thrilled that the charity supports smaller charities as she feels you can really see the difference the contributions make, and the awareness raised by the tour.
Last year, a few of the women took a trip to visit one of the local communities to see the impact the charity had made, something that Eva desires for the future. Eva says,
“For me, this is a lifelong partnership, and it’s something that every year we can build on and find better ways to support it. As it’s a smaller charity I am able to network directly with the representatives and execute plans such as a medical mission led by my husband, plastic surgeon, Dr Alexandrides.”
This will be the second Cash & Rocket tour that Eva has taken part in, her first being last year, in 2014. She says,
“I found the experience truly inspiring. I was surrounded by a strong group of women, all united to change the lives of those less fortunate in Africa; the idea is power by presence. This year we finish the tour in Cannes in time for the renowned film festival; the publicity and awareness will go to the next level.”
In Aid Of The Tour
Eva commissioned a limited edition 111SKIN Glam Tour Kit, containing miniature skin saviours, which will be used by all the women participating in the tour. Available exclusively from 111SKIN.com, Eva has pledged that 20% of all sales of the Glam Tour Kit will go directly to the Cash & Rocket charity.
